Do you want to help ensure that our digital solutions function reliably and create value every day? We at Kopparstaden, the public housing company of Falu municipality, are now looking for a system administrator – a key role in our work to manage, improve, and further develop our existing system environments for employees and tenants.

About the role

As a system administrator, you will be a central part of our ongoing digitalization journey. Your main task is to take care of and further develop our existing system support, focusing on stable operations, user support, and continuous improvements.

You will work with several of our most significant systems at the intersection of technology, operations, and user experience. This means you understand the business processes and information needs and translate them into well-functioning, sustainable solutions.

You will collaborate closely with all parts of the organization, manage incidents and changes, follow up on deliveries, and contribute to ensuring that our systems are secure, updated, and sustainable in the long term. Here, you will also be an important part of larger initiatives or projects, such as ensuring data quality and establishing modern integration solutions.

Organizationally, you will be part of our IT department along with four other colleagues and report to our IT manager.

Your mission

• Drive improvements and ensure stable management of our systems.
• Manage incidents and identify root causes to prevent recurring issues.
• Ensure that documentation, routines, and processes are current and clear.
• Contribute to the development of our digital capabilities, operational processes, and information management.
• Actively work with quality, structure, and ownership of master data.
• Participate in planning and prioritization of our management and development activities.

Who are you?

You are a structured and communicative person who enjoys having overall responsibility. You like to create order in complex system environments and are driven to find solutions that simplify everyday life for both employees and tenants.

We believe you have:

• Relevant higher education, such as computer science, or other competencies that Kopparstaden deems equivalent.
• Experience in system administration, object management, or a similar role.
• Experience working with vendor management.
• Good understanding of IT processes and system life cycles.
• Ability to analyze needs and translate them into requirements and solutions.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience in the real estate or housing industry.
• Experience with agile working methods.
• Experience leading, participating in, and communicating in projects or change work with various stakeholders.

Good to know

The position is a permanent employment. Full-time.

The role is primarily based at our headquarters to strengthen collaboration and culture. At the same time, we offer the possibility of remote work if needed.

Monthly salary according to agreement.
